Some thoughts -- 1. The Oreland Supply Co lighter does say "building supplies" in red below the name, so I bet it's the same company. I wonder if you could find the building on Google and see if it looks the same as the pic on the lighter?
2. The lighter with the two flags says "American by birth, southern by the grace of god" which is a slogan I've seen in the South before -- so this was probably made/came from below the Mason Dixon line.
3. On planes they often use tiny salt and pepper shakers, although now they are obviously made out of plastic. I wonder if that tiny metal one you found came from either a plane or a train of yore?
4. King Kong was released in 1933 and I wouldn't be surprised if that ape toy was nearly that old.
