My name is Brent Cosey. A few years ago, I started metal-detecting as a hobby. I was skeptical at first, but I soon became addicted to finding pieces of history while spending time in the great outdoors.

These are my stories. In these posts, I’ll tell you - briefly! - about my time in a park, near a river, or anywhere, telling you what I found, where I found it, and what it might mean.

You wouldn’t believe the things I’ve discovered. From Matchbox cars to buttons to lighters to rings… Finding out about these little treasures is often as fun as finding them in the first place!
